Gordie Clark was born in Glasgow, Scotland but was part of the University of New Hampshire's hockey program for four seasons before turning pro with the Rochester Americans in 1974. That same season Clark made his NHL debut, playing a single game for the Bruins. The following year Clark scored 30 goals for the Americans and played seven more NHL games with the B's. He managed one assist in his seven games and would never return to the NHL as a player but he did have a 21 game stint with the Cincinnati Stingers of the WHA in 1978-79.
After spending '77-78 in Edmonton DeMarco signed as a free agent with the Bruins, playing the final 3 games of his pro career in '78-79. Here's his Boston Bruin "retirement" card.
Tim Erixon was born in New York while his father Jan was with the Rangers but grew up in Sweden. His NHL career started back in New York before moving on to Columbus, Chicago and Toronto. He played 15 games with the Leafs in 2014-15 before spending the last 2 seasons in the AHL. Here is the Maple Leaf card he never had.
Jean Gauthier was a journeyman who spread his 166 NHL games over ten seasons and three different teams. He spent most of his pro career as a farmhand and injury replacement for the Montreal Canadiens. He added stops in Philadelphia and Boston before a final 31 game pro stint with the WHA's Long Islander Raiders in '72-73. He had 2 rookie cards issued in the '63-64 Parkhurst set and that would be it, here's his '64-65 Tallboys creation.
Murray Hall made his NHL debut with the Chicago Black Hawks during the 1961-62 season with a two-game appearance. He spent the majority of the next two seasons in the minors before returning for a 23-game stint with the Hawks in 1963-64. Claimed by Detroit in the Intra-league Draft in June 1964, his NHL career saw periodic invitations up to Detroit for regular season or playoff games between 1964 and 1967. The 1967 Expansion Draft saw him move to Minnesota where he played 17 games before a trade to the Canucks. Here is his '64-65 Blackhawks Tallboys custom card.
Dave Hynes spent parts of two seasons with the Boston Bruins in 1973-74 and 1974-75 playing his entire 22 game NHL career over 2 seasons. He would never get a hockey card, here is his '74-75 Bruins custom rookie card.
Steve Langdon played 7 NHL games over parts of three seasons with the Boston Bruins in the 70s. The Toronto native was chosen 63rd overall by the Bruins in 1973 after notching 31 goals for the OHA's London Knights. The next year he scored 33 goals as a rookie pro with the Albuquerque 6-Guns of the CHL. Over the next three years he bounced around the minors and was recalled to Boston periodically as an injury replacement. Langdon retired in 1979 after scoring 25 goals for the AHL's Rochester Americans without ever getting a hockey card, here is his Bruins custom rookie creation.
Len Lunde has an 18 year pro career with stops in the WHL, AHL, CPHL, NHL, WHA and even the Finnish Elite league. He retired after the '73-74 WHA season spent with the Edmonton Oilers, here is his WHA custom card.
Claude Larose played over 900 NHL games for Montreal, Minnesota and St. Louis. He was a fine skater who was equally proficient at generating offense or preventing scoring chances.
