Round #2 - Draft Pick #22: Rick Kehoe, Right Wing from Hamilton Red Wings Jr. A
Rick joined the Maple Leafs in 1970-71 splitting the year between Toronto and Tulsa in CHL. He would spend 12 years in a Leaf uniform before being traded to the Penguins for Blaine Stoughton in 1974. His Rookie Card was issued in the 1972-73 OPC set.
Round #2 - Draft Pick #23: Dave Fortier, Defnse from St. Catherines Blackhawks Jr. A.
Dave spent the 1971-72 season with the Tulsa Oilers before splitting the next season between there and Toronto. He played 23 games for the Leafs in 1972-73 before being dealt to the Flyers in 1974, but was claimed by the New York Islanders in the intra-league draft a few weeks later. Also had an NHL stop in Vancouver followed by a WHA season with the Racers. He had his rookie card issued as part of the 1974-75 OPC set as an Islander.
Round #3 - Draft Pick #30: Ralph Hopiavouri, Defense from Toronto Marlboros Jr. A.
Hopiavouri didn't sign with the Leafs but attended Detroit's 1971 training camp, playing in two exhibition games against St. Louis and Minnesota. Turned pro and Won IHL Turner Cup with Port Huron in 1972. Signed WHA contract with Cleveland on Aug. 9, 1972 in WHA's inaugural 1972-73 season. Spent time in NAHL, SHL and OHA Senior league prior to retiring after 1980-81 season. Never had a hockey card but we created a Crusaders custom.
Round #3 - Draft Pick #37: Gavin Kirk, Center from Toronto Marlboros Jr. A.
Gavin was also selected by Quebec Nordiques in 1971 WHA General Player Draft, the first draft in league history, and played with Ottawa Nationals team in WHA's inaugural 1972-73 season. Played in every WHA season from 1972-73 through 1976-77 without ever missing a game due to illness or injury. Retired after the 1978-79 WHA season but returned to play 1973-84 in OHA Senior League. He had his rookie card issued as a Toronto Toro in the 1975-76 OPC WHA set.

Spent that season and most of the next in CHL with Oklahoma before playing 2 games with the Leafs in 1974-75. Split 1975-76 between CHL and IHL followed by a season in OHA Seniors before retiring. He would never have a hockey card issued we have created a Maple Leafs custom.

Paul Larose scored 132 points in 57 games in the 1969-70 QMJHL season, his only year of junior hockey, playing on a line with Guy Lafleur and Jacques Richard. They would capture the league title an go on to the Memorial Cup finals. 1970-71 found him in the EHL with Syracuse Blazers where he had 199 points in 149 games over 2 seasons. February 1972 would see him selected in the first ever WHA draft by the Quebec Nordiques. He would appear 28 games for them in 1972-73 and another 5 WHA games in 1974-75 with the Michigan Stags. He retired after playing the 1976-77 season with the Maine Nordiques in the NAHL. He would never have a hockey card issued but did make the 1972-73 Nordiques issued postcard set.

He played 12 NHL seasons with 6 different teams before he retired after spending the 1985-86 season in the AHL. His rookie card was issued as part of the 1972-73 OPC set.
