Andy Bathgate spent 2 of his 21 pro seasons in Detroit earning cards in the 1965-66 and 1966-67 sets, both head shots. Here is a custom 1966 Topps creation.
Brian Conacher got his first taste of NHL action during the 1961-62 season when he dressed for one game with the Toronto Maple Leafs. He joined the Canadian National Team in 1963-64 and represented his country at the 1964 Olympic Winter Games. His pro career got started in 1965-66 as a member of the AHL's Rochester Americans and he was called up by the Leafs for two more games. In 1966-67 he was awarded full-time duty with the Maple Leafs when they went on their magical run to the Stanley Cup. But after 1967-68 he would leave pro hockey for 3 seasons with Team Canada before returning for 22 games as a Red Wing in 1971-72. That was followed by 69 WHA games with the Ottawa Nationals in 1972-73 and he then spent three years with the Mohawks Valley Comets of the NAHL before retiring.
