Larry Cahan played just about everywhere in pro hockey in North America in his 24 year career. 1963-64 was his 6th season as a Ranger after starting his NHL career in Toronto. He wouldn't make the original '64-65 Topps set, here is a custom request.
Marc Reaume had played parts of 8 NHL seasons with Toronto and Detroit before he made a 3 game stop in Montreal in '63-64. It would be another 7 years before his next, and final, NHL appearance, a 27 game stint with the Vancouver Canucks. Again he would be left out of the Topps set.
Norm Dube played briefly for the Kansas City Scouts in the mid-70s, getting 56 games in the 74-75 season and a final 1 game in '75-76. He was picked up by the WHA's Quebec Nordiques in June, 1976 and scored 15 goals in the last 39 games of the season then helped the team win the Avco Cup. His only card was part of the 1977-78 OPC WHA set, here's his Scouts custom rookie card.
Bert McCaffrey played seven NHL seasons during the 1920s and 1930s for the Toronto St. Pats, the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Montreal Canadiens. However, probably the greatest highlight of McCaffery's career came during his final year as an amateur with the OHA's Granites, when he competed in the 1924 Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix, France. They would beat the U.S. national team 6-1 to take home the Gold Medal. Here, by request is a 1933-34 Canadian Gum "Olympic Team Card".
Jake Rathwell played 6 seasons of pro hockey before getting his 1 game NHL shot in Boston. He had memorable years in the minors, scoring 99 points in '69-70 with the EHL Clinton Comets as well as being named WHL Rookie-of-the-Year with the Salt Lake Golden Eagles in 1971. He retired after his NHL season without a hockey card, here's his Bruins custom rookie.
Bob Ritchie was the 2nd choice, 54th overall of the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1975 NHL Entry Draft based on his 55 goal and 111 point 1974-75 season in the QMJHL. He joined the Richmond Robins of the AHL for the 1975-76 season and spent the start of '76-77 with Springfield before getting a 1 game call-up to the Flyers. That would be his only game in the organization being traded to Detroit shortly after. He would play 28 games as a Red Wing over 2 seasons before retiring without a hockey card. Here are his Flyers custom rookie as well as a Red Wings custom card.
Bryan Watson played 19 NHL seasons with Montreal, Detroit, Oakland, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Detroit (again) and Washington. However he would finish his pro career as a member of the WHA Cincinnati Stingers, here is his custom WHA "retirement" card.
