Doug Shelton played five games as a Hawk in 1967-68, his only trip to the big league. He played his junior hockey with the St. Catherines Black Hawks, scoring 36 goals and adding 24 assists in his final season in 1965-66. He turned pro the same year appearing in two playoff games with St. Louis Braves in the CPHL. He spent the next season with them before moving on to the Dallas Black Hawks in 1967-68 where he had 58 points in 65 games. He was back in Dallas for 69 games in 1968-69 before being traded by Chicago to Minnesota. He split the 1969-70 season between the WHL Denver Spurs and the AHL Springfield Kings before retiring at the end of the season. Here is his '68-69 card:
