recent retirement. He has been creating for as long as I have been fumbling along with my card creations, producing baseball, football and other cards. His creations are second to none, in my opinion, and I have used them as a yardstick to grade mine. For those not familiar take a look at his blog: http://boblemke.blogspot.ca, it's always informative.
Just completed an order for some 1952 Topps style baseball cards. This set is considered by many collectors and baseball historians to be the most important post-war baseball card set ever produced. The 407-card set was the largest set ever produced at the time of its release. Released in 6 series the cards measured 2 5/8" x 3 3/4" which made them a challenge to create as most of my templates are based on the standard modern card size of 2 1/2" x 3 1/2". Anyway, here are the first 10 in my 1952 Topps Baseball Cards That Never Were set.
